On October 2, my mother turned 82 years young, we pulled off a fabulous party that remained a surprise, she almost fell over! We hired a singer from a local radio station, they played songs from the "60's", Dean, Frank, Sammy amoung others. To quote my mom "now that's music" and it was fabulous music. I produced a slide show of pictures of my mothers life that ran throughout the night which everyone enjoyed. Do You Think She Looks 82?
She is a wonderful mother and my best friend and I so enjoyed giving her this party and watching her have such a wonderful time. Each grandchild gave a short toast and her best coffee friend "Barbie Doll" read a poem about what my mothers friendship means to her, a few tears where shed.
I just know that my dad was there watching us, tapping his foot to the beat singng "doobie doobie do"..................
