30 years ago today I married my wonderful husband (Forest) it really doesn't seem that long, time flies.

Our daughter, Kristin, & son, Kevin had a surprise Anniversary Party for us last Saturday night, yes if was a total surprise we didn't have a clue. Pictures to follow. Today we are celebrating with each other, we both stayed home today and we have a lovely afternoon & evening planned. Like most people we have been through the good times and some bad times but always stayed true to our commitment to one another. Very Happy Day

Sweet Victory * Celebration Day !!!

It's a celebration day, for the 21 day challenge with Rhonna! Congrats to all of the "21"ers Victory. The daily inspirational quotes and art have been amazing, such a wonderful way to keep focus on my goal. Now I will continue with the creative exercises everyday to keep myself mighty & strong. I'm so happy that we will be checking in every monday to continue this creative journey with each other. Yes I DID IT !

Stressful Weekend/Monday

I'm trying really hard to focus the postive engery in my world. I'm helping my Mother out with a problem she is having with tenants in the one building she has owned for over 40 years . Two new people moved in the first of June and by July they just stopped paying rent. It is going through the neccessary legal channels but in the mean time she hasn't received a cent since June 1, 2009. She is 83 years old and relys on the rest money to live. The reason the two 40 years old gave to the court is that 2 screens are missing, they called in the board of health 14 days after they received a notice to quit, (to give up appartment for non payment of rent ) because 2 screens that were in place when they moved in have disappeared.

I took pictures of the apartment just prior to June 1st and you can cleary see the screens, in the long run they will be forced out but next month we have to go through a Jury Trial just because they CAN and of course it drags the whole thing out longer while they live FREE. As of 9-1 they owed my mother $3600, she'll never see a dime. It breaks my heart that the heariang is scheduled on the two year anniversay of my dear fathers death.
The challenge (21 day) is really helping me focus on whats important here, keeping me strong. Truely amazing the impact it has had on my life . (thank you Rhonna)

Engagment Party

My husband & I gave Kristin & Kevin an Engagement Party on August 15, 2009. We held it at the popular night spot The Waterclub for family and close friends. Pink Gerber daisies on the tables, a beautiful cake & delicious food and drink. It was a great party on a hot summer evening, once the sun went down everyone enjoyed the breathtaking view from the deck.

Creativity is maximized when your're LIVING in the moment

My beautiful daughter is going to marry the love of her life, Kevin, in May 2010. Now I have my son, Kevin, and son in law to be Kevin. So cool isn't it, my son is in a relationship with a lovely girl and her name is Kelly. There are a lot of K's in my life !! ha Why am I noting all of this? Simple, while I am living in the moment today I was thinking about the K's.

Looks like I'm starting to get some of this layout stuff, so happy I was able to get a button or two on the page and the link actually works... so good. I need to get a blog header and sides from my favorite place, you guessed it Hof3 ! Which one to choose?

I'm working on setting up my blog today, not as easy when you don't have a clue!
